Learning to interpret other's behavior from their own perspective and understand how they might interpret our behavior differently because of their different perspectives is crucial when engaging with colleagues or customers from other backgrounds. 

By embracing the Platinum rule and striving for cultural competency, individuals and organizations can foster a more inclusive and respectful environment where diversity is celebrated, perspectives are valued, and collaboration thrives across cultural boundaries.

In the session we will:

  • Understand the business case of culture diversity and how cultural differences impact businesses.

  • Develop cultural self-awareness. 

  • Explore the impact of shifting from the “Golden rule” to the “Platinum rule” 

  • Learn how to navigate different cultural norms and business practices.

  • Develop personal action plans to exercise culture competency

You will leave the session:

  • Knowledgeable about the role and impact of culture in the workplace 

  • Able to leverage cross-cultural differences to best collaborate and achieve results 

  • Foster an open attitude mindset to continuously learn and develop cross-cultural agility.

  • Equipped with an applicable toolkit and resource list

  • 3 hours interactive workshop
